Hiking The Carpathian Mountains, Yeremche

Hiking in the south-west of Ukraine is something everybody should try. The wide open spaces, the valleys, the unknown treasures. The forgotten wonder of Eastern Europe.

The trip:
Soviet train from Kiev to Ivano Frankivs'k. Bus ride to Yeremche. From Yeremche the journey in the Carpathians begins.

Crawling up Yavirnyk Gorgan Mountain

Night train from Kiev to Ivano-Frankivs'k. 10 hours.

Some exercise in our coupe. Ready to do some hiking!
Where: in a train between Kiev and Ivano-Frankivs'k

The autumn colors in Yeremche are some of the most breathtaking imprints from Ukraine. I wanna go back.

I would like to run this farm for a short period... No wait. A long period.

Those colors...

The team: Bohdan from Yeremche and my dear friend Mads.

Exploring the wide open spaces.

Views on nature. Views on life.

Let's grow up!

Yavirnyk Gorgan Mountain. Yeremche is sleeping down there in the valley.

Where: on a restaurant in Ivano-Frankivs'k

We like to share a drink when flying business-class.
Where: Up in the air between Kiev, Ukraine and Riga, Latvia

Mmm. Relaxing between the destinations. It's important when doing intense travel writing.
